Career and Technical Education
Career and Technical Education (CTE) at ORVA gives students an opportunity to learn more about high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers in Oregon. Students do this through career awareness, career exploration, career preparation, and career training.
ORVA currently offers two CTE pathways: 1) Marketing and 2) Wildlife & Natural Resources. Each pathway offers a progression of courses, opportunities for students to develop technical and employability skills, earn industry recognized certifications, and gain experience through work-based learning.
Students will learn employable skills to prepare them for careers in Marketing, Marketing Research, Advertising, Sales, Branding, Merchandising, and more. Average annual wages in these fields range from $35,511–134,188.

Upon successful completion of Marketing 1 / 2 students earn four college credits. Upon successful completion of Entrepreneurship 1 / 2 students earn three college credits.
